News from the DDCC Futurity

Tamarang bloodlines were well represented at the Darling Downs Cutting Club Futurity held in Toowoomba from the 5th to 11th of July.

Half of the horses in the Non Pro Futurity Final were sired by Tamarang stallions, as follows: Spinnies Gold Fever by Tassa Lena; Hootin Acres by Acres Destiny; Sweetest Miss Emmett Cat by Whos Top Cat; Hollywood Catwalk by Whos Top Cat and Tassas Troubadour by Tassa Lena.

Congratulations to Scott Campbell who tied for Reserve Champion by just one point in the DDCC Open on Fancy Freckled Acre - a colt by Acres Destiny from Docs Fancy Freckles (by Docs Freckles Oak). 

Other notable permances were Craig Sim on Spin N Acres (by Acres Destiny) and Leanne Gray on Doves Date with Destiny (by Acres Destiny) who placed 3rd and 4th respectively in the Open Non Pro. Well done.

The CCCC Futurity at Goondiwindi, also in Queensland, is underway and we look forward to hearing the results from there.
