Richard Bull heads up the Tamarang team, managing all horse breeding, marketing and management decisions and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Tamarang operation.
A well known figure in the cutting and campdrafting world, Richard has competed successfully in both disciplines in Australia. He is passionate about the industry, breeding top horses and values his team (including his favourite dog Nancy).

Sandi, along with her menagerie, moved to ‘Tamarang’ in January 2009. She enjoys working behind the scenes, with her main role being to keep Richard organised, which in Richard's own words is ‘a huge contract’!
At present Sandi is working on the interior design of the couples’ home renovation - ‘Freckles Oak Cottage’; the project is due to complete in February 2012.
Apart from a shared love of all creatures great and small, Sandi and Richard share in common the same favourite Tamarang horse; ‘Buzz’ aka Tassa Lena.
Jo Akeroyd is Richard’s personal assistant and office manager, who has a special gift for multi-tasking. Jo handles Tamarang’s breeding contracts and registrations. Please contact her in the first instance to arrange a stallion or chilled semen contract.
Most weekends Jo can be found spending time with her daughters Bridie & Darci, husband Geordie, their horses and their beloved 'Cavalier King Charles Spaniels'.
Jo is available Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 2:00pm.
Murray Stirling started at Tamarang in July 2008 with his day-to-day duties including tending to the horses, processing cattle, and general farmwork. Murray has become a 'jack of all trades', as he is called on to assist with whatever project has priority at Tamarang. At present he is helping out with the construction of the new mare chutes outside the lab area.
With his fading Scottish accent and considered approach, the work at Tamarang always gets done with Murray around. Murray's pick of the broodmares at Tamarang is 'Oaks Deception'.
Scott Copeman, or 'Scottie' as he is affectionately known, brings a wealth of experience to the daily grind at Tamarang. He has worked in the mining industry, built his own home and has a strong background in mechanics. Scottie heads up the construction team for all new and planned infrastructure.
With an ability to switch from one task to another Scottie is a great asset to our team. His best mate is his dog 'Mac', who has a most unusual vocal talent - he yodels.
Rob Porter brings lifetime experience in the horse and cattle industries to his role at Tamarang.
Most notably he spent five years in the position of Horse Instructor at Emerald Agricultural College and six years working and instructing in Horse and Cattle studies at the University of Qld Gatton campus. Rob is a trade qualified farrier and has worked at Coolmore, Woodlands and other major Hunter Valley studs. He is certainly a handy man to have around!
If he hasn't quite had his equine 'fix' when he leaves Tamarang for the day, Rob spends his spare time breeding, breaking and training his own horses. He has competed in showing, campdrafting, challenges and cowhorse events for many years.
Benita Bensch works closely with Richard, Sandi and Jo to coordinate Tamarang’s marketing activities including marketing strategy, advertising, sponsorship, promotional materials, the NO BULL newsletter, the website and social media.
Benita works from a West Wyalong base and is the Principal of Sunburnt Country Consulting - a boutique agency set in rural Australia specialising in marketing communications, events and project management.
