Tassa Lena’s sire Smart Little Lena was the first Triple Crown Champion and is the #2 All Time Sire of winners in the United States with his progeny earning US$39 million.
Tassa Lena’s dam is royally bred and not only a champion cutting horse but a daughter of two legendary horses: Peppy San Badger, and Doc’s Tassajara who in turn is a full sister to Doc’s Starlight.
Tassa Lena’s major career achievements include:
- Carrying Richard Bull to NCHA Champion $8000 Non Pro title in 1999 and NCHA Open Non Pro Runner-Up in 2005
